Disco Elysium
Disco Elysium is an 19-years-in-the-oven 2000-something-pages exploration of one alcoholic cop’s mind and maybe the best satire on politics, culture, and humanity in general of recent decades. Like any work of art that grows to be bigger than its authors, it is layered, uninterpretable and interpretable at the same time.
Noita
Noita is a game about programming spells — with a complex system of modifiers, triggers, rotations, decks, etc. But beyond that layer, it is a game about knowledge, experimentation and death. A lot of death. Noita is a puzzle that keeps on giving, just waiting for you to take a crack at it.
